AlloyHaus ("we," "us," or "our") operates alloyhaus.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and direct because that is how we think communication should work.

Information We Collect

Account and contact information. When you place an order or create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping address.

Vehicle and fitment selections. To show you wheels that fit, we store the year, make, model, and trim you enter. We use this to power fitment verification and to improve our catalog coverage.

Payment information. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment processor (Shopify Payments) and are never stored on AlloyHaus servers. We receive only a transaction ID and the last four digits of your card.

Usage and analytics data. We collect standard web analytics including pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, device type, and IP address. This data is aggregated and used to improve the site.

Cookies. We use first-party cookies to maintain your session and remember your vehicle selection. We may also use third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics). You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work as expected if you do.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your order, including transmitting shipping address and order details to our distributor partner.
  • Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and tracking information.
  • Respond to customer support requests.
  • Improve fitment accuracy and expand vehicle coverage.
  • Send marketing emails about new wheels, promotions, and guides — only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the site.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as necessary to run the business:

  • Payment processor (Shopify Payments): To charge your card and detect fraud.
  • Distributor / dropship partner (WheelPros): Your shipping address and order details are transmitted to fulfill your order. They do not receive your payment information.
  • Shipping carriers: Your name and delivery address are shared with UPS, FedEx, or the freight carrier handling your shipment.
  • Analytics providers: Aggregated, anonymized usage data is shared with Google Analytics.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AlloyHaus or others.

Data Retention

We retain order and account data for seven years to comply with tax and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained for 26 months. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Your Rights below); we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.

Security

All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). Payment data is handled exclusively by Shopify Payments, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We use industry-standard access controls and encrypt sensitive fields at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable precautions and will notify you promptly in the event of a breach affecting your data.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Opt out of sale of personal information — we do not sell data, but you have this right under CCPA.
  • Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). EEA and UK residents have rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@alloyhaus.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

AlloyHaus is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently done so, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the site.
